Pascale Hutton is a Canadian actress who is best known for playing the role of Rosemary Coulter in When Calls the Heart. She started her acting career in the 2003 CBS television film Hollywood Wives: The New Generation. Since then, she has appeared in numerous TV productions and movies, including Dead Like Me, Smallville, Flashpoint, and The Perfect Bride.

The 40-year-old actor has developed a reputation for being very secretive about her personal life. She rarely gives anything away during interviews, and she manages to avoid paparazzi. This piece will look at Pascale’s husband and family and her relationship with fellow actor Kavan Smith.

She married Danny Dorosh in 2003 and they have two sons

Danny Dorosh and Pascale Hutton

Pascale Hutton was born on 14th June 1979 in Creston, British Columbia. Her hippie parents raised her in a rural setting. Pascale and Dorosh got married on 6th September 2003. Danny told Pascale during their first meeting that he would marry her one day. Pascale, who was only 19 years old at the time, found Danny’s confidence attractive, and soon fell in love with him.

Danny is an actor who has appeared in Surviving Love, The 4400, and Food for the Gods. He now works as a police officer, which is beneficial for the couple and their two sons. Pascale is usually away for a large part of the year working, and it helps to have a husband who stays at home. In an interview, she said that she contributes to raising the kids as much as she can when she gets a break from filming. She said:

“Fortunately for me, if we film When Calls the Heart five or six months out of the year, I usually have the rest of the time off where I’m home and a full-time mom. I’m doing pick-ups and drop-offs from school. I’m taking my kids to activities… My husband is the most incredible man in the world, and my boys just love him to death. They think he is the best person who has ever walked the earth.”

She and her fellow actor Kavan Smith are just friends

Kavan Smith and Pascale Hutton

Pascale and Smith have appeared together in several films and shows, and they play each other’s love interests more often than not. The pair also has a great relationship off-screen, which has led some to assume that they are dating. Pascale and Smith are just friends, and they have different families. Hutton recently took to Instagram to wish Smith a happy birthday:

“Your friendship is one of the true gifts in my life! Thank you for the teasing, the ribs, the laughter, the venting, the creativity, and the hard-hitting honesty – thank you for it all! Happy Birthday Kavan!!”

The pair appeared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight and talked about their lives during the quarantine period. Pascale stated that she is enjoying spending time with her sons though she has found homeschooling to be more difficult than she imagined. Hutton’s husband is a police officer, and so she is mostly at home alone with her sons.

Pascale wants to create as many memories with her sons as she can. She told My Devotional Thoughts in June 2019:

“I felt like I needed some quiet time so I could focus on my family and have a more simplified, day-to-day life for a while…. I want to be sure to spend time with them now so we have lots of wonderful memories.”
