Five Feet Apart is a romantic drama about two young patients who have cystic fibrosis (CF) that fall in love. Because of their disease, they need to stay a certain distance away from each other.
Five Feet Apart was released in theaters in the United States on March 15, 2019, by CBS Films and Lionsgate. This film was produced by Cathy Schulman and Justin Baldoni, and it was also directed by Justin Baldoni.
Haley Lu Richardson plays Stella Grant, a CF patient. Stella copes with her illness by using social media, and she does her best to live a normal life. While she is in the hospital, she meets another SF patient, Will Newman, who is played by Cole Sprouse. Over time, they fall in love.
Patients with CF are not allowed to be within 6 feet of each other. The reason for this is that they could give each other the bacteria that they have in their lungs, which could be fatal to one or both of them. This means that even though they love each other, Stella and Will can never touch. Indeed, they are supposed to always remain six feet apart. During the course of the move, Stella decides to take one foot back, which is reflected in the title of the movie.
The film has had mixed reviews, and it has also generated controversy in the CF community. This controversy began before the movie was even released. The issue is that people in the CF community were concerned that by romanticizing this disease, it might encourage people to not follow the six-foot rule, which could be fatal. The CF community also had concerns about trivializing their disease. On the other hand, some people believe that this movie could be an important step in raising awareness about CF.
Is Five Feet Apart On Netflix?
Five Feet Apart is not on Netflix at the present time.
Will Five Feet Apart come to Netflix in the future?
If you want to see Five Feet Apart on Netflix in the future, will you be able to?
Unfortunately, Five Feet Apart will probably not be available for streaming on Netflix in the near future, if ever. Although, if you have Netflix’s DVD service by mail, it is expected to be available in that format on June 11, 2019, when it comes out on DVD and Blue-Ray.
The reason for this is that Five Feet Apart was released jointly by Lionsgate and CBS Films. Lionsgate sometimes does release films to Netflix, but it releases them to Hulu more often. CBS Films, however, owns Showtime. It also has its own streaming service, CBS All Access. Because of this, Five Feet Apart will probably go to Showtime after it is finished in the theaters. On the other hand, when it is finished on Showtime, there is still the possibility it will come to Netflix.
There are some other shows on Netflix that you might be interested in, however. Some of these shows include the Netflix films, Brain on Fire and To the Bone.
