Ben Marshall was born in Savannah, Georgia, on May 1, 1995. Marshall’s parentage is unclear. However, in a 2021 interview with Vulture, he hinted that he had a privileged upbringing. “We went to NYU and are not drowning in debt. We’re very privileged to have access to what we’ve had access to,” Marshall said.
Unlike Martin and John’s parents, Marshall’s parents had no links with SNL. In the Please Don’t Destroy movie, Conan O’Brien, an SNL alum, plays Ben’s dad, giving him the familial SNL connection his comedy partners have. Marshall told Esquire:
“We also think it’s really funny when guys are obsessed with their dad. Just always vying for their approval. That’s where that came from. Not us, though. We all have great relationships with our dads.”
