Kirito is duped by a private institute known as Rath to engage in trials for The Soul Translator. However, Rath is actually developing a secret A.I. for military use. Kirito spends 11 years participating in the experiments, but he has no memory about it.
After confronting a real-world enemy, Kirito enters a comatose state that leaves him in the Underworld. Season 3 focuses on Kirito as he tries to find a way back to the physical world. It really is an interesting story.
When to expect Sword Art Online Season 3 on Netflix.
Sword Art Online season 1 and season 2 are available on Netflix. Season 2 ended in late 2014, and it appeared on Netflix on 2015. The 3rd season ran from October 2018 to May 2019.
However, the title hasn’t appeared on Netflix yet. At the moment, you can only find Sword Art Online season 3 on Hulu, FUNimation, and Crunchyroll.
