Fans have been looking forward to the next installment of Rambo since 2008. It is finally here, and it is titled Rambo V: Last Blood.

The film is set to be released in theatres on 20th September 2019. In the film, Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) manages his father’s horse ranch in Bowie, Arizona. He manages it alongside his friend, Maria Beltran (Adrianna Barraza), and her granddaughter, Gabrielle (Yvette Monreal).

Gabrielle finds out that her father lives in Mexico, and she escapes from the ranch to go find him. However, it’s not a fairy tale reunion between Gabrielle and her father. Miguel denies Gabrielle, leaving her heartbroken. Rambo learns that Gabrielle is in Mexico, and he heads there to bring her home. However, the cartel in Mexico isn’t happy with Rambo’s presence, and they beat him up severely.

Rambo heals, but the misfortunes continue when Gabrielle dies of an overdose. Gabrielle’s death triggers the killer inside Rambo, and he wages a strategic and brutal war against the cartel. The film features Stallone at his best, and it is a film that everyone must watch. So far, it has received a fan approval rating of 80%.

Will Rambo V: Last Blood be coming to Netflix?

Sadly, it is highly unlikely that Rambo V: Last Blood will come to Netflix. The reason is that Rambo’s production company, Lionsgate, has a rocky relationship with Netflix. The relationship between Lionsgate and Netflix broke down in 2015 because Netflix wanted exclusive distribution rights to Lionsgate films.

Netflix was unhappy with the fact that Lionsgate movies were available on other streaming platforms. In addition, Lionsgate films recently signed a streaming deal with Hulu.
