Killing Eve is a British spy thriller series that follows an intelligence officer named Eve Polastri, who is tasked with catching psychopathic assassin Villanelle. The show is based on a novella series by Luke Jennings titled Codename Villanelle. As the series progresses, Eve and Villanelle develop an unhealthy obsession with each other.
The characters seem to focus less on their missions and more on understanding each other. Killing Eve has proved to be an overwhelming success, earning several accolades, including a Peabody Award and the British Academy Television Award for Best Drama Series. The fourth and final season of Killing Eve is set to premiere in 2022.
