Greta is a 2018 psychological thriller by Neil Jordan and Ray Wright. In the film, Frances McCullen finds a handbag with its tag showing that it belongs to Greta Hideg. Frances f0rms a bond with the welcoming Greta, who claims to be a French widow with a daughter studying in Paris.
Frances starts pulling away from Greta after finding multiple handbags with different name tags in Greta’s closet. She then finds out that Greta is not from France and that Hideg’s daughter committed suicide four years ago due to Greta’s psychotic behavior.

At the time of writing, Greta is available on Netflix in 13 regions: Canada, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.
Netflix should come to other Netflix regions before the end of 2021. However, the film is unlikely to appear on Netflix in the United States.
Comcast owns the film’s distributor, Focus Features, through its subsidiary NBCUniversal.
NBCUniversal owns Netflix competitor Peacock. Therefore, Greta will likely appear on Peacock rather than Netflix in the United States.
