Axl Rose is the unmistakable voice behind the beloved band Guns N’ Roses. He’s been the only constant member of the band since its inception in 1985. Rose has worked with AC/ DC, most notably in 2016 when vocalist Brian Johnson temporarily left due to hearing loss.
Guns N’ Roses were an instant hit, with their first album, Appetite for Destruction, selling over 30 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling debut album of all time in the United States. Rose was key to the album’s success with his lyricism and powerful, wide-ranging voice impressing fans.
Axl Rose is still touring with Guns N’ Roses and will star in the band’s upcoming world tour
Guns N’ Roses released its latest album, Chinese Democracy, in 2008, but the band is still together. It took thirteen years for the band to release another project, with the singles Absurd and Hard Skool hitting the airwaves in 2021.
The songs formed part of the band’s 2022 extended play Hard Skool. The successful EP showed that the legendary band retains its magic.
Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses are scheduled to tour multiple cities worldwide, starting in Alges, Portugal, on 4th June 2022 and ending in Auckland, New Zealand, on 10th December 2022.
When not touring, Axl Rose often stays at his Malibu home, perched up on a hill in Latigo Canyon.
