This movie is scheduled to be released into theaters in the United States on February 8, 2019, by Paramount Pictures. It stars Taraji P. Henson as Ali Davis, who is a successful sports agent. Despite her talent, she is passed over for a promotion in favor of a man. While wondering what she needs to do to get ahead in a world dominated by men, she goes to a psychic. Afterward, she gains the ability to hear the inner thoughts of men.

The story was written by Tina Gordon Chism and Jas Waters, and the screenplay was by Tina Gordon Chism, Alex Gregory, Peter Huyck, Chris Spain, and Jon Zack. In addition to Taraji P. Henson, What Women Want stars Aldis Hodge, Tracy Morgan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Phoebe Robinson.

The original movie, What Women Want, was about an advertising executive, Nick Marshall, played by Mel Gibson. He was a male chauvinist, who sold products to men and seduced women. He was passed over for a promotion in favor of a woman because the company wanted to broaden its appeal to women. After an accident, he discovers that he had the ability to hear the thoughts of women. While initially he uses these new powers for his advantages, eventually it gives him a new understanding and he is able to repair many relationships, including the one with his daughter.

What Women Want was a box office success, but it received mixed reviews from critics. Still, Mel Gibson was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture and for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Actor. It also won the Golden Screen Award in Germany.

Will What Men Want be coming to Netflix?

If you want to avoid the theaters and see What Men Want on Netflix, will you be able to?

It is not definite, but it is highly likely that What Men Want will be coming to Netflix in the future.

Streaming rights are big business, and they involve negotiations and deals between production companies and streaming services. Whether a show will come to Netflix depends on the production company involved.

Paramount Pictures is the production company for What Men Want. In November of 2018, Paramount Pictures entered into a contract with Netflix to produce movies to be released directly to Netflix. This deal does not appear to include streaming rights to movies released into theaters, but it does show a good relationship between Netflix and Paramount. Also, at present, Paramount does not seem to have given exclusive streaming rights to anyone else.

Given this, it is probable that at some point What Men Want will be coming to Netflix. Further evidence for this is that What Women Want was on Netflix for about a year. It came off Netflix in November of 2016, and in August of 2018, it went to Starz.
