The film is set in the 60s, a period of rapid change in Hollywood. The 60s also features the Tate Murders, orchestrated by the Manson Family. Dalton, Cliff, and members of the Manson Family eventually cross paths in what is arguably the most memorable part of this near 3-hour Tarantino masterpiece.
