Marcus Story went missing in the early hours of Thursday 11th November 2021. Hours later, the family started sending alerts for assistance, insisting that the 23-year-old posed no threat to anyone but was dealing with a mental health crisis. A tweet by his cousin, journalist Kayce K., reads:

“My cousin Marcus has been missing for the last two days. He was last seen in the south Seattle area. Car was found abandoned by Kubota gardens. HE IS NOT OF ANY THREAT.”

He was last spotted in the South-Seattle area on 15th November. Unfortunately, police found Story’s body outside of Seattle. 

Police don’t suspect foul play in the death of Marcus Story.

The Seattle Police Department doesn’t suspect foul play in the death of Marcus Story. The department tweeted that it awaits the medical examiner to release a cause of death:

“Marcus was found deceased outside of Seattle yesterday. No indications of foul play at this time. The King County Medical Examiner will make the final determination on cause and manner of death.”

The discovery marks the unfortunate end to the search for Marcus Story. Kayce K. sent out a tweet thanking everyone who helped with the search:

“God called home Marcus, & now he’s one of our angels. Thank you to everyone who shared the flyer, sent prayers, donated, reached out. Our family is forever grateful. I love you Marcus, I hope you know how much everyone loved you.”
