Madonna has six children, and the internet alleges she might be expecting another child.

Britney Spears invited her celebrity friends, including Madonna, to her early June 2022 wedding to Sam Asghari. 

During the festivities, Madonna and Britney recreated their 2003 on-stage kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards. Madonna shared photos of the kiss on Instagram, attracting attention for her dress rather than the intimate moment. 

Some fans were convinced that a baby bump protruded from her midriff. Zoomed and cropped pictures yielded inconclusive results as netizens feuded over Madonna’s appearance. 

It’s unlikely that Madonna is pregnant. The angle of the photo plus the dress worn by the pop queen makes it seem like Madonna is pregnant – but it’s unlikely that the 63-year-old songstress is carrying a baby. 

Madonna recently broke up with her boyfriend of three years, Ahlamalik Williams. Ahlamalik and Madonna started dating in 2019. They recently had an on-and-off relationship before splitting up for good. 

“They are still on good terms and there are no hard feelings, but they are at different places with their lives,” a source speaking to Page Six said. Madonna appeared to address the breakup when she posted the following quote on her Instagram Story:

“Karma said: when somebody in your life is not right for you….god will continuously use them to hurt you until you become strong enough to let them go.”

Ahlamalik is three years older than Madonna’s oldest child Lourdes, who’s 25. 

Madonna was reportedly trying to get pregnant a decade ago

Madonna welcomed Lourdes in 1996 alongside former partner Carlos Leon. Four years later, she welcomed Rocco with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie. In 2006, she adopted David, and three years later, Madonna adopted Mercy. 

A short while later, Madonna started dating Brazilian model Jesus Luz, then 22. Reports claimed that Jesus and the then-51-year-old Madonna wanted to have a baby. A source told The Sun that Madonna felt healthy enough to carry a child to term. 

The source added that Jesus was excited about fatherhood: “Jesus is very religious and deeply in love with her. He adores her kids but has always wanted a child of his own. He told Em (Madonna) fatherhood would be his greatest adventure, and that he wanted to go on this journey with her.”

Madonna split with Jesus before the rumored pregnancy came to fruition. In 2017, she added to her brood, adopting twins Stella and Esther.
