Jenelle Lauren Evans is an American reality TV personality who gained fame for starring on MTV’s Teen Mon 2. Evans’s story originally aired on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant, which showcased the birth of her first child, Jace, alongside her then-boyfriend Andrew Lewis.

Evans was a star attraction on MTV until the media house fired her after her husband, David Eason, shot and killed their pet dog. Jenelle was a controversial figure on the show, and her life continues to dominate headlines despite her expulsion from Teen Mom 2.

This piece will look at Jenelle’s love life. We can confirm that she is still married.

Jenelle initially planned to divorce her husband David Eason, but the couple chose to work things out

David Eason and Jenelle Evans

In 2017, Jenelle and David Eason got married and welcomed their daughter Ensley. All was well between the couple until David shot and killed the couple’s pet dog. Eason told People that he felt that it was a necessary thing to do given how violent the dog was. He also revealed on Jenelle’s YouTube series I Have Something to Say that the dog didn’t love the kids.

Evans and Eason lost custody of their children after the incident. Jenelle felt that David’s actions were too violent, and decided to instigate divorce proceedings. According to E! News, Jenelle said: “Because of his recent threats, his history of violence, his erratic behavior and his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children’s well-being.”

It certainly looked like Eason and Jenelle were headed for divorce, but their latest social media posts suggest that they’ve chosen to work things out. On 25th September 2020, Evans attached the following caption alongside throwback photos of the couple’s wedding day:

“This day was perfect. From start to finish, everyone was having a great time! I’m so happy we decided to work through the hard times for our family. Through thick and thin, you’re my best friend. I don’t want it any other way.”

Jenelle and ex Nathan Griffith had a bitter custody battle over their son Nathan Griffith

Jenelle and Nathan Griffith welcomed their son Kaiser in 2014. The couple had a serious relationship and, at one point, they got engaged. However, Jenelle and Griffith’s relationship collapsed, leading to a bitter custody battle over their son. The court handed custody to Evans, but Nathan did get temporary custody after Eason’s shooting incident. In November 2019, Nathan tweeted that he had established a healthy relationship with Jenelle. He wrote:

“I am so appreciative to finally have a healthy relationship with @PBandJenelley_1. Sometimes we should have had 3-4 years ago. Especially one, that everyone, is supportive with.”

However, Jenelle and Nathan’s relationship has steadily deteriorated since that high point in November 2019. In July 2020, Nathan took to Twitter to accuse Eason of abusing Kaiser. He wrote:

“How do you [explain] marks on my son’s back, [his] black eye, whip marks on his rear end, continuous police investigation. Charges against David Eason for multiple violence and aggressive behavior… NOTHING HAPPENS. What am I supposed to do besides being a panic parent!”

A theory has emerged claiming that Nathan’s issues with Jenelle arise because of her relationship with Eason. When Eason and Evans appeared destined for divorce in November 2019, Nathan tweeted about his ‘healthy’ relationship with Jenelle. The duo’s once healthy relationship then soured after Jenelle and Eason announced their decision to remain together.

Jenelle almost got hooked on heroine during her short-lived marriage to Courtland Rogers

Courtland Rogers and Jenelle

Jenelle and Courtland Rogers tied the knot in 2012. The couple had a short and unhappy marriage which almost resulted in Evans getting addicted to heroine. Courtland, on the other hand, claimed that Evans ruined his life. In her memoir, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom, Evans revealed that she aborted Rogers’ child:

“I know people judge me harshly for my choice. If you are hoping for a long, detailed description of what I was going through at the time of my decision, I hate to disappoint you. I have talked about it enough. I did what was best for my body at that time, and I have moved on from it.”

Courtland has had a torrid time with the law since his divorce. In January 2020, he was arrested for felony larceny, felony probation violation, and felony possession of a schedule I drug.
