Joanna Jedrzejczyk is a Polish mixed martial artist and Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor. She is a former UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion, and she is currently ranked fourth in the Strawweight rankings. Joanna caused quite a stir after signing with the UFC in July 2014. She became the UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion by defeating Carla Esparza via TKO, and she went 14 games without losing a game.

However, her form dipped after losing her title to Rose Namajunas in 2017 and losing the subsequent rematch. Joanna’s talent and skill is undoubted, but she is experiencing a tough spell currently, and she has said that it is linked to her dating life.

This piece will look at Joanna’s dating life. We can confirm that she is currently single.

She blames her poor form on her cheating ex-fiancé Przemyslaw Buta

Joanna claims that she found out that her ex-fiance cheated right before her first loss against Rose Namajunas. The break up affected her, and her form in the cage dipped. Joanna talked about her love life and other issues in her life on the UFC Unfiltered show:

“The last two years were pretty difficult for me… I broke up with my fiance, and we broke up before my first fight with Rose Namajunas, and this terrible weight cut happened, and I broke up again. This year I found out that my manager messed up my money, and then I found out that my fiance was cheating on me.”

She claims to be happy and looking forward to 2020

Joanna has experienced a tough few years after her breakup, but she now states she is happy and looking forward to getting back on form. She stated on the UFC Unfiltered Show that she couldn’t maintain focus in the ring with her personal life crumbling. Thankfully, she has now settled her issues:

“Maybe shitty things happened in my life, but it has to happen somehow. I’m happy. I know what life is about now. When I turned 30, I thought I knew a lot and had experienced a lot. I was broken in my life, so dedicated to the sport, losing my mind into the sport, working so hard. But that’s the difference – I’m happy now.”
